Bloom Graphics Effects

Heres a few screens of the new bloom effects that have been added to the game. Still a work in progress as we have to remove the hud section from the bloom effect area.

Getting You Up To Speed On Our Progress

Welcome to our blog and thanks for taking an interest in our game. Shellshock skirmish is a real-time 2D tank artillery game for up to four players to compete against each other over several rounds. Single players can also enjoy a campaign against AI opponents.

It has been in development for over a year now and we hope to have the completed game up on Microsofts Indie Games on Xbox 360 as soon as we can. Until then we will update this blog and our twitter page (ShellshockDev) with changes and developments to the game.

Here are a few screenshots to give you an idea of the style and gameplay:



We aim to make the game as fun as it can possibly and spend endless time tweaking the game engine to that effect. Some of the features of the game include a landscape generator, destructable terrain, particle effects, 7 tactical weapons and generally awesome funness :-)

Currently we are working on the implementation of the AI, which is well on its way, and a campaign mode, which is getting there :-p. We also intend to implement the online battle mode before release, including a mini-game in the lobby.

That should about sum it up for now. There will be more detailed posts as we progress. Feel free to ask questions or leave comments and we'll try to respond as soon as we can.
